In the mid-1950s, Porsche, inspired by the ideas and requests of american dealers, created the Speedster version of the 356 model, an entry-level designed for young drivers who want a daily car to compete on the racetrack.
It featured two seats, a sleeker silhouette coupled with a low windshield, and was available in just three colors: red, blue, or white.
This particular example features one of the most unique and captivating combinations, with red exteriors and beige sporty interiors. The car is in excellent condition, completely restored down to the smallest detail by Porsche Classic, a process documented in a beautifully crafted and bound restoration booklet. It was subsequently appraised and certified by Reutter, historic official Porsche coachbuilder, confirming the originality and accuracy of the configuration; it also features original Porsche toolkit and spare wheel.
But the real peculiarity is the production year of this specific model: 1954, the very first year of production for this iconic Porsche series, a detail that makes it one of the rarest cars produced by the Stuttgart-based manufacturer. A piece for true collectors, capable of thrilling both on the road or exposed in the living room.
